The Empire has existed in quiet peace for many generations. Murmurs of discord rise up from time to time, particularly from the borderlands that see less imperial luxury than the capital, but otherwise all is calm. For the past year, however, that calm has been threatened. Strange individuals have been discovered, people who are not of this world. The empire has taken notice of this occurrance, and considers it a threat to their order, collecting these Outworlders and placing them in forced immigration camps to prevent them from planting the seeds of chaos. There are those that see this as a step too far for the empire, though, and rise up for the free rights of everyone, even the Outworlders, considering their existence more concerning than their mere presence.

Yawhil Tundra

The frozen lands of Yawhil play host to the coldest climate in all of Astrae. Because of its isolation from the world due to the Oyahn Mountains it's mostly been untouched by the empire, and plays host to several tribes of wildlings, people who live at the mercy of the land and of their own abilities to find shelter. These people are considered savages by the empire, and were once considered for conquering.
